The vehicle was taken to the local dealer who unable to determine the cause of the check engine light and the vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not yet contacted. The contact was informed that the VIN was included in the NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V741000(ELECTRICAL SYSTEM). The failure mileage was 8,000."

"The contact owns a 2022 Jeep Wrangler 4XE. The contact stated that the vehicle was difficult to start. Additionally, the contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle hesitated while depressing the accelerator pedal. Additionally, the contact stated that there was an alarm related to the battery that was sounded. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V741000 (Electrical System); and the vehicle was taken to the dealer, where a software update was performed on several occasions; however, the failure worsened. The message "Check Electrical System" was displayed, and the check engine warning light and other unknown warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer, where it was diagnosed, and it was determined that the high-voltage battery needed to be replaced. The contact was advised that the vehicle needed to remain with the dealer for a month. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 34,000. The VIN was not available."

The failure mileage was approximately 29,000. The VIN was not available."
